BC | F | PZ Abogados is pleased to announce that Urbano Sonzini Astudillo has joined our firm as specialized counsel based in Salta Province, Argentina for its Mining Law, Renew-able Energies and Environmental Law practice.

Urbano Sonzini Astudillo graduated as a lawyer from the Argentine Catholic University (Buenos Aires) in 2009. Further, he completed a Master Degree in Law and Economics in the Alma Mater Studiorum – Universitá di Bologna (Italy, 2012/2013) and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Labor Law from Austral University (Buenos Aires, 2020).

In the academic area, he has served as a professor of Law Philosophy at the Catholic Uni-versity of Salta and has also given numerous courses on civil and commercial law in the School for Magistrates of the Judicial Branch in Salta.

Urbano Sonzini Astudillo is an expert in mining law, renewable energies and environmen-tal law.

In the Province of Salta he has played an active role, providing legal counsel to leading mining companies, specially focusing on mining and environmental law.

Currently, he is providing advice to some of the biggest lithium extraction mining projects of the country, in the provinces of Jujuy, Salta and Catamarca, as well as to other re-nowned mining projects in the Argentine Northwest.
