On September 7, 2022, the National Court of Appeals on Labor Matters (“CNAT”, as per its acronym in Spanish) ordered Resolution No. 2764, which determines to:

(i) Maintain the current interest rates applicable to credits (amounts) claimed in labor proceedings, which are pending before the national labor courts of the City of Buenos Aires.

(ii) Establish an annual capitalization of labor credits as from the date of service of notice of the complaint.

This new update rule, which now includes the annual capitalization as an innovation, will have an impact on all labor proceedings without a final judgment.

This scheme shall apply to those credits which are not subject to a special legal regime regards interests.
